Roster spots for the upcoming Motocross of Nations in Ernee, France, in late September, are beginning to fill in with Team Great Britain the latest to confirm their three riders.
It was announced in June that Shaun Simpson and Max Anstie would fill the role of MX1 and MX2, with only the Open spot left to fill. Today it was announced that Dean Wilson will ride for the team.
Team GB returns two of the three members (Wilson and Simpson) that finished tied for third with Team USA in Latvia, but lost out on a tiebreaker. Anstie replaces the injured Tommy Searle.
In just his second race back from a knee injury sustained in January, Wilson was impressive at round eleven of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross in Utah Saturday, finishing fifth in the second moto. Wilson also confirmed on Twitter that he will race the upcoming FIM World Motocross Championship round at Glen Helen on September 20.
