Pitbike Championship at Muddy Creek

Blountville, TN - This weekend’s 21st annual SUZUKI TOP GUN SHOWDOWN at Muddy Creek Raceway will feature the final round of the 2008 TEAM PIT BIKE CHAMPIONSHIP.
This unique pit bike race features two man teams which alternate riders every lap for the six lap race. Good speed around the track plus a quick exchange handoff, rider to rider, is a good recipe for winning this event. This pit bike race will take place Friday evening after practice.
The 21st annual SUZUKI TOP GUN SHOWDOWN is the finale for the 2008 THOR UNITED STATES MEGA SERIES presented by DUNLOP. The series is one of America’s largest amateur motocross series featuring some of the nation’s top talent in the youth and amateur classes plus the nations fastest up and coming pros.
There will be 39 different classes of racers, pee wees to the pros will be competing in Sunday’s “MAIN EVENT”. Saturday is a qualifier day to get the field narrowed down to a full gate of 40 riders in each class.
Muddy Creek Raceway – Exit #63 off I-81 and follow the signs 3 miles.
Saturday & Sunday = Racing at 9:00am - - RAIN or SHINE.
