Monster Energy Kawasaki's Watkins Takes Home State Win in Ohio

Irvine, CA  - Monster Energy Kawasaki's Scott Watkins earned his first GNCC XC2 class win of the season during a dusty round 12 at Power Line Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Watkins battled much of the race for the lead and was able to edge out the competition on the last lap. Watkins' good ride finished him in seventh overall amongst the XC1 riders and moved him up to fourth in the points standings. Teammate Andrew Matusek turned out a good ride to round out the top-10.
