The 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship Final will take place this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada. Check out the list below for a look at who’ll be missing the action due to injury.
450SMX Class
Jason Anderson – Health Issues | Out
Anderson is out with ongoing health issues.
Colt Nichols – Thumb | Out
Nichols is recovering after having surgery to fix a torn UCL in his right thumb. He’s out for the finale.
Aaron Plessinger – Illness | Out
Plessinger is dealing with some ongoing health issues. It was initially hoped he’d be able to return for the SMX Playoff rounds, but it didn’t work out. In the meantime, he’s sponsoring a young stock car driver and attended a NASCAR race.
Malcolm Stewart – Back, Leg | TBD
Stewart tweaked his back and hurt his leg in Concord and was too beat up to race. He gave it another go in St. Louis but crashed during practice and had to pull out of the main event. At time of posting, we hadn’t received an official word on his status for Las Vegas.
Dean Wilson – Knee | In
Wilson made a mistake and tweaked his knee on the first lap of the first moto in St. Louis. He’s rehabbed his knee all week, and when we reached out to him, he told us it “Should be fine.”
250SMX Class
Julien Beaumer – Back | Out
Beaumer is recovering after having surgery to address a burst fracture of his L3 vertebra, which he sustained during qualifying in Concord.
Austin Forkner – Knee | Out
Forkner dabbed his knee during practice and sustained a knee injury. He’s out for Las Vegas and the team does not have a timeline for his return.
Mikkel Haarup – Collarbone | Out
Haarup hopes to return to action for the upcoming Motocross of Nations. He’s currently sidelined with a broken collarbone, which he sustained at Unadilla.
Chance Hymas - ACL | Out
Hymas tore his ACL at High Point and is out for the year.
Michael Mosiman – Ankle, Head | Out
Mosiman is out after sustaining a concussion and cut above his eye at Unadilla.
Jalek Swoll – Leg | Out
Swoll is out for the SMX Playoffs due to a torn calf sustained at Ironman.
Max Vohland – Elbow | Out
Vohland went down and sustained a dislocated elbow during practice in St. Louis. He’s out for Las Vegas this weekend.
