Some good news on the injury front, as Cole Davies is finally set to return to racing following his brutal arm injury (and broken nose) suffered at the Monster Energy Supercross finale in Salt Lake City. Davies is in for the final two Pro Motocross rounds, and believe it or not, that will mark his professional debut outdoors! He raced the Monster Energy Amateur National at Loretta Lynn's last summer but did not do any Pro rounds afterwards. In fact, many expected him to keep racing SMX Next for 2025 until he started flying at the test track and Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing bumped him into the pros for Anaheim. The move seemed to work out....
So now Davies is back. Alongside him under a packed Yamaha tent will be Caden Dudney, who is making his pro debut after winning a moto last weekend in the SMX Next Combine at Ironman. Dudney is still slated to race SMX Next in 2026, however.
Also, Ty Masterpool makes his return after a broken hand suffered just before RedBud.
