Round eight of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship will take place this Saturday at the Fly Racing Washougal National in Washougal, Washington. Check out the list below for a look at who’ll be missing the action due to injury.
450 Class
Jason Anderson – Health Issues | TBD Out
Anderson missed Spring Creek due to health issues. At time of posting we hadn’t received confirmation on his status for Washougal.
Kawasaki has announced Anderson is OUT for the remainder of the SMX season.
Dylan Ferrandis – Leg | Out
Ferrandis hasn’t raced this summer due to a stress fracture in his leg. It’s unlikely he’ll race again before the season ends.
Grant Harlan – Leg | Out
Harlan is out for Washougal due to a leg injury sustained when he was run over at RedBud.
Derek Kelley – Leg | Out
Kelley is out for the season due to a broken fibula sustained at RedBud.
Freddie Noren – Banged Up | In
Noren has been banged up and recently parted ways with the ISRT / MX4Christ Kawasaki Race Team. He’ll return to racing at Washougal aboard a Yamaha.
Aaron Plessinger – Illness | Out
Plessinger was sick at RedBud and he wasn’t able to line up for the second moto. The illness persisted at Spring Creek, where he had to pull out of the first moto and wasn’t able to race the second. He’ll sit Washougal out to focus on getting back to 100 percent.
Joey Savatgy – Leg | Out
Savatgy sustained a leg injury at RedBud and missed Spring Creek. The team wasn’t specific about the injury, but we do know he’ll miss Washougal too.
Cooper Webb – Knee | Out
Webb will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing a minor procedure to have his knee cleaned up after he twisted it at RedBud.
250 Class
Max Anstie – Leg | Out
Anstie broke his leg in Birmingham and hasn’t raced since. He’s out for Washougal.
Julien Beaumer – Wrist, Banged Up | Out
Beaumer had a big crash at High Point and got banged up and jammed his wrist. He tried to keep racing but he clearly wasn’t at 100 percent. He sat out Spring Creek and will also sit out Washougal. He should be back for Ironman.
Daxton Bennick – Concussion, Back | Out
Bennick sustained a big concussion in Philadelphia and hasn’t raced since. He’s back on the bike but he won’t be racing at Washougal.
Pierce Brown – Back | Out
Brown hasn’t raced since fracturing his T5 vertebra in Tampa, but is expected to line up for some races before the end of the Pro Motocross season.
Casey Cochran – Shoulder | Out
Cochran had surgery after dislocating his shoulder and sustaining ligament damage during qualifying at Southwick. He’s out for Pro Motocross.
Trevor Colip – Femur, Stroke | Out
Colip crashed hard and broke his femur during qualifying at Hangtown. There were further complications at the hospital and Colip suffered multiple strokes. To help him out, visit Road 2 Recovery.
Cole Davies - Arm, Nose | Out
Davies broke his nose and right arm in Salt Lake City. He’s back on the bike but it’s not clear when he’ll return to racing.
Evan Ferry – Achilles | Out
Ferry is out for the year after tearing his Achilles at A1.
Seth Hammaker | In
Hammaker had a few crashes at Spring Creek, and he tweaked his knee in one of them in the second moto. The team said he is in for this weekend.
Chance Hymas - ACL | Out
Hymas is out for the year after tearing his ACL at High Point.
Ty Masterpool - Hand | Out
Masterpool missed RedBud and Spring Creek after breaking his hand in a tip over while practicing. He’s out for Washougal.
Cameron McAdoo – Knee | Out
McAdoo is out for the summer with a torn ACL.
Kayden Minear – Thumb | Out
Minear recently had surgery to address a torn UCL in his thumb. He’s off the bike for the immediate future.
Carson Mumford – Ankle | Out
Mumford hasn’t raced any Pro Motocross races this summer due to an ankle injury sustained in Birmingham. He’ll miss Washougal as well.
Jett Reynolds – Leg | Out
Reynolds is looking at a return to racing at Ironman after breaking his leg during the supercross season.
Stilez Robertson – Wrist | Out
Robertson is out for the foreseeable future due to a nagging wrist injury.
Nick Romano – Shoulder | Out
Romano sustained a shoulder injury at Pala and will miss Spring Creek. He might return for the final two nationals.
Jalek Swoll – Thumb | In
Swoll has been racing with a torn UCL in his thumb, which has limited his ability to ride during the week. He’ll continue to race through it at Washougal.
Gavin Towers – Knee | Out
Towers is out until 2026 due to a torn ACL and lateral meniscus.
Tom Vialle – Knee, Shoulder | Out
Vialle crashed on the first lap of the second moto at Spring Creek and banged up his knee and shoulder. He wasn’t able to practice during the week and he’ll sit Washougal out in order to make the most of the break. He’ll return to racing at Ironman.
