Telemundo Deportes to Stream SuperMotocross World Championship in Spanish Live From Las Vegas

ELLENTON, Fla./MORGANTOWN, W.V. – As the SuperMotocross World Championship postseason picture comes into focus, the SuperMotocross League announced the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship Finals, Fueled by Monster Energy broadcast and streaming schedule. The SuperMotocross World Championship will be presented in Spanish live on the Telemundo Deportes YouTube channel, Facebook page, and X account, as well as the Telemundo app.

The SuperMotocross commentary team will consist of Jason Weigandt as play-by-play announcer and former SMX Champions Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart serving as analysts. Will Christien and Jason Thomas will provide on-track reporting.

The Spanish language broadcast will continue to see veteran broadcaster Edgar Lopez as the play-by-play announcer and former racer Tommy Rios as analyst.

All three rounds of the SuperMotocross World Championship Finals are available in both English and Spanish via the SuperMotocross Video Pass (Supermotocross.tv), which is accessible in all countries outside of the United States. Start times are the same as the Peacock times listed in the schedule.

Pre-race coverage for each round of the SuperMotocross World Championship Finals, Fueled by Monster Energy begins with Race Day Live which will be hosted by Dan Hubbard and Justin Brayton, with live field reports from Haley Shanley and Steven “Lurch” Scott.

Fans can tune in early to the pre-race show which will be anchored by Justin Brayton and Katie Osborne live from the venue thirty minutes prior to the start of each race.

Last year’s landmark inaugural season saw two of the sport’s youngest and brightest stars cement their place in the history books. At just 17, Haiden Deegan earned Rookie of the Year and captured the 250cc World Championship while Australian sensation Jett Lawrence, at 20, became the first-ever 450cc World Champion in the premier class, also as a rookie.

Showing the world this was no fluke, Deegan and Lawrence have both been dominant in their 2024 campaigns. Deegan came in second in the Eastern Regional 250SX Class Supercross Championship and is currently leading the 250 Pro Motocross Championship. Lawrence secured the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship but recently bowed out early in the Pro Motocross Championship while third in the points standings due to injury. Lawrence is expected to make his return to racing at SuperMotocross Playoff 1 on September 7 at zMAX Dragway in Concord, NC to defend his title.

The SuperMotocross World Championship Finals, Fueled by Monster Energy will feature the best athletes in the world as the top 20 in combined Supercross and Pro Motocross points are automatically seeded into the playoff rounds. As in other sport playoffs, athletes will be competing for the sport’s ultimate World Championship title, and the prestige that comes from overcoming adversity through a 28-round, dual-discipline (indoor and outdoor) season, plus two SMX Playoffs and a Final.

The SuperMotocross World Championship is the premier off-road motorcycle racing series in the world and as such pays out more total prize money than any off-road motorcycle racing series on the planet.
