Welcome to Save of the Day presented by Mips where we will be highlighting close calls, salvage rides, or comeback performances from each week of the 2021 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
At the Fox Raceway 2 National, Dylan Ferrandis was holding onto second place late in the second 450 Class moto. Ferrandis was in a position to clinch the 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with a second place finish but the race was not over yet when he nearly laid his Yamaha down in the off-camber. He continued on to bring it home in second place and claim the title.
