Brett Cue's journey to get invited to X Games Best Whip was finally realized this year when he was invited to X Games Austin 2016. Cue's dreams of X Games gold ended when he mistimed a whip in Round One of the competition and crashed hard to the ground. He was attended to by medical personal and taken off on a stretcher and transported to the local hospital. He sustained a cracked rib, partial collapsed lung and was KO’d for almost 5 minutes.
