With KTM announcing revamped line of enduro and street-legal enduro bikes for 2017, it's no surprise that Husqvarna, which is closely related, has now done the same. We already saw the 2017 Husqvarna motocross and cross-country machines but today the company has announced the rest of the group. You can get your bikes in both two and four strokes with multiple displacements, and there's also a street-legal line of four-strokes.

The off-road and enduro range is actually where the Husqvarna and KTM lines differ most. All of these Husqvarna's use a linkage rear suspension as opposed to the KTM XC-Ws and EXCs, which use a new version of KTM's linkage-free PDS rear suspension system. Also, Husky offers a few different displacement combinations of its machines. You can get a road-legal Husky 250, 350 450 and 501, for example, while KTM offers doesn't offer the 450 version, just a 250, 350 and 500.

Model info via a press release from Husqvarna is below. Don't forget Husqvarna also offers the FX line, which are closed-course off-road bikes. They're basically the motocross bikes with suspension setting changes and bigger gas tanks.

Off-Road

Husqvarna Motorcycles is proud to offer the first look at the sophisticated, all-new 2017 off-road model range, a line-up of seven bikes designed to excel in all conditions while supporting riders of all abilities as they blaze new trails and extend the limits of off-road riding.

Offering the next level of off-road experience, Husqvarna’s 2-stroke TE 150, 250 and 300, as well as the 4-stroke street-legal FE 250, 350, 450 and 501 models represent an important step forward for the historic brand’s off-road bikes. Featuring class-leading components combined with low weight and progressive design, the complete range of engines offers smoother power outputs across the full power range, while also setting new standards for peak power and torque.

Reduced weight ensures the 2017 generation Husqvarna off-road models deliver best-in-class handling and performance on all terrain. Bristling with technological innovations such as composite carbon fiber sub-frames, WP Xplor 48 forks and linkage rear suspension, together with optimized frame flexibility ensures riders can push their personal limits to the next level.

Retaining dynamic, sharp and sleek bodywork, Husqvarna’s 2017 off-road models feature outstanding looks and perfect ergonomics.

All 2017 Husqvarna Motorcycles’ TE and FE models will be available in North American Dealers at authorized dealers in Fall of 2016.
