We posted this last week, but a lot has changed since that time. As we reported yesterday, Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna’s Christophe Pourcel will miss the race this weekend due to a prior rib injury.
BTOSports.com KTM's newest addition Davi Millsaps has confirmed he will race the MXGP this weekend. The race will mark not only Millsaps' first race with the team, but his first outdoor race since the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 2012 season finale.
Americans Josh Grant, Jason Anderson, and Team USA’s Cooper Webb are all scheduled to race the MXGP (450) Class. (Webb talked about the race earlier this week.)
Other notables include Team France’s Marvin Musquin and Team Britain’s Dean Wilson, 2015 Australian MX1 Champion Kirk Gibbs, New Zealand MXoN teammates Cody Cooper and Ben Townley, Brett Metcalfe (who spent his summer racing in Canada), and Team DirtCandy/Suzuki’s Robert Lind.
According to the entry list, in the MX2 (250) Class Lucas Oil/TLD KTM teammates Jessy Nelson and Shane McElrath will join Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Joey Savatgy and Chris Alldredge. Privateer Mark Weishaar will also race.
