Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey made a statement at Anaheim last weekend by qualifying fastest, winning his heat race, and dominating the main event. The current Monster Energy Supercross point’s leader is well-positioned with only one more Cali round remaining before the series heads east. Always a pleasure catching up with the Dunge!
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Tyler Bowers has been a fierce competitor ever since we first starting covering him in the amateurs. You don’t get to be a four-time consecutive AMA Arenacross champion without a little blood spilled and some controversy along the way. It’s unfortunate that some headlines have overshadowed some great riding in supercross this year, but we know this kid can handle it all. We’ll get his thoughts on the season so far before the 250 East riders get their shot after San Diego this weekend.
GEICO Honda’s Matt Bisceglia was back in action last weekend after missing the last two races recovering from a concussion. He showed the speed we’ve all been waiting on with a solid top-five finish on the night. That could have been even better if his sweet holeshot would have counted before the race was red flagged for the gate malfunction. We’re glad he’s back and has a little time for us tonight.
