2014 Spring Classic Date Announced

RPM Sports is pleased to announce the 2014 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Spring Classic, presented by Fly Racing will be held, February 27 – March 2, 2014. Since 1975, amateur championship racing has been held in early March to become known as the Spring Classic. 2014 will kick off championship racing for both amateur and pro/am riders at Millcreek Mx Park in Pell City, Alabama.

“Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has come on board this year as title sponsor to provide  great rider support, with $100.00 hole shot awards to select classes and all riders will receive a $10.00 gas card”, stated Alex McWilliams. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is a quality company that is willing to give back to the riders. This was important to us and our participants”, continued McWilliams.

Justin Deschamps, head of sponsorships at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, stated; “We are excited to be involved at such a high level of amateur motocross racing. RPM Sports does a fantastic job with all its racing programs, and we are glad to be able to provide support to them and the racers.”

We also welcome Fly Racing and WPS as a new presenting partner of the Spring Classic. Fly will be providing contingency and Fly Bucks to be given away at the event. The new Fly Racing rig will be on hand to provide assistance to all riders interested in gear and other products.

The Spring Classic will be a two moto format with site laps before each moto. Championship awards will be presented 1st – 8th place with Spring Classic #1 plates for the champions, along with podium interviews. We look forward  to kicking off the 2014 championship season at this great event.

The Spring Classic is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association, the country’s leading amateur motorsports sanctioning body as well as the premier advocate for motorcyclists’ rights. AMA-sanctioned events represent the gold standard of motorcycle competition and enjoy exclusive access to the AMA Amateur Competition Rulebook.
