Mike Owens To Join Legends & Heroes MX Tour
Merced, CA: Vintage Enthusiast & VMX National Champion Mike Owens and Legends & Heroes MX Tour Managing Partner Alex Moroz announced today a partnership in which Owens will join the tour and help develop the moto museum as part of the Legends & Heroes Traveling Motocross Museum. The Legends & Heroes MX Tour has been on the road the past two years displaying classic motocross memorabilia and presenting a timeline of motocross history to fans nationwide. Most recently, the tour was present at 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship series events, the USGP series, Monster Energy AMA Supercross events, FIM World Championship series, the FIM Motocross of Nations and the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days event at Mid-Ohio. The tour’s current modular display is being redesigned to incorporate a 40-foot 5thwheel specifically designed to carry the country’s most dynamic motocross display around the country. The program opened at Anaheim 1 and will travel to all of the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross events, the AMA Pro outdoor nationals, the USGP and other high-profile events.

Mike is a multi-national AHRMA Motocross Champion, a collector of some of the finest motocross machines and has a passion to help us bring our project to the next level” states Moroz.
Mike adds: “I am very excited to be joining the Legends & Heroes Project. As a vintage motocross enthusiast for twenty plus years, I intend to bring the experiences I've gained to provide and asset to Alex and his team. I look forward to being associated with the tour, helping to provide a professional display of vintage motocross machines, memorabilia and the Legends & Heroes that raced them to other enthusiast and most importantly younger generations.
About the Tour
The Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour is a professional historical display and time-line of Americas greatest motorsport. The tour includes the machines and the champs of Motocross. The project was conceived by a dedicated group of Motocross Enthusiasts who, over the years, have discovered the value of the rich 40+ years of Motocross legacy and its impact on the American motorsports history. “The dedication and passion of the sport has brought the Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour to the next level of sharing this legacy, the history of the machines and men, as well as the women of Motocross. The history of the Classic Iron and its' champions is a dynamic model ever changing.
