Mike Mason Wins the Playstation Pro
Orlando, Florida – October 16, 2006 – Mike Mason wins his first ever major freestyle motocross event by taking the top spot at the final round of the Dew Action Sports Tour.
If ever there was a way to cap off your season on a high note it would be by winning your first major event of your career. Mike Mason did exactly that this past weekend by winning the Play Station Pro, the final event of the 2006 Dew Championship Tour. En route to the win Mason took down the 2006 Dew Tour Champion and fellow WMG athlete Nate Adams, who is considered one the sports top competitors.
The win capped off a phenomenal season for the rising FMX star who also won his first ever X Games medal, a Bronze in freestyle motocross at X Games 12. “It feels so good to finally get that first win under your belt. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a while and I’m definitely going to savior it!” Look for Mike to improve upon this year in 2007.
