The sixth round of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship will take place this Saturday at the Honda RedBud National, presented by Dixxon, in Buchanan, Michigan. Check out the list below for a look at who’ll be missing the action due to injury.
450 Class
Dylan Ferrandis – Leg | Out
Ferrandis has a stress fracture in his leg and will likely miss all of Pro Motocross. If he does return, it will be toward the end of the season.
Chase Sexton – Banged Up | In
Sexton will make his return to Pro Motocross at RedBud. Sexton hasn’t raced since he crashed hard in the first moto at Fox Raceway.
250 Class
Drew Adams – Finger | In
Adams broke his left index finger in a small crash at High Point. After missing Southwick, he will make his return at RedBud.
Max Anstie – Leg | Out
Anstie is currently sidelined due to complications in the recovery process following a leg break in Birmingham.
Daxton Bennick – Concussion, Back | Out
Bennick is back on the bike after a confusion sidelined him in Philadelphia. A return date is yet to be announced.
Pierce Brown – Back | Out
Brown is back on the bike after fracturing his T5 vertebra in Tampa. He’s currently working toward being able to line up for some motocross races before the season ends.
Casey Cochran – Shoulder | TBD OUT
Cochran dislocated his shoulder during qualifying at Southwick, which ended his day early. At time of posting, we hadn’t received confirmation on his status for RedBud.
Update: Cochran will miss the remainder of Pro Motocross. Following further medical evaluation earlier this week, it was confirmed that the injury included ligament damage that will require surgical repair. He'll undergo surgery next week. Recovery timelines are expected to keep him off the bike for the remainder of the season.
Trevor Colip – Femur, Stroke | Out
Colip had a bad crash during qualifying at Hangtown, in which he sustained a broken femur. There were further complications at the hospital and Colip suffered multiple strokes. He was in hospitals for weeks but was recently released. To help him out, visit Road 2 Recovery.
Cole Davies - Arm, Nose | Out
Davies hasn’t raced since breaking his nose and right arm in Salt Lake City. A return date has yet to be announced.
Evan Ferry – Achilles | Out
Ferry tore his Achilles at A1 and hasn’t raced since. He was shooting to return at RedBud, but he’s since experienced a few other complications and won’t return to racing until 2026.
Chance Hymas - ACL | Out
Hymas sustained a torn ACL in his right knee at High Point. He’s had surgery and will miss not race again in 2025.
Ty Masterpool - Unknown | Out
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki announced on their pre-race press release that Masterpool will miss this weekend after a practice crash earlier this week. The release did not specific any further details and we are working to find more information.
Cameron McAdoo – Knee | Out
McAdoo is out for the Pro Motocross season with a torn ACL.
Kayden Minear – Thumb | Out
Minear tore his UCL in his thumb during qualifying at High Point. He’s had surgery and will be off the bike for the immediate future.
Carson Mumford – Ankle | TBD
Mumford hasn’t raced since sustaining an ankle injury in Birmingham. At time of posting, we hadn’t been able to confirm his status for RedBud, but Mumford racing seems unlikely.
Jett Reynolds – Leg | Out
Reynolds is shooting for a return at Ironman Raceway after breaking his leg during the supercross season.
Stilez Robertson – Wrist | Out
Robertson is dealing with a tough, nagging wrist injury and is out for the foreseeable future.
Nick Romano – Shoulder | Out
Romano sustained a shoulder injury at Pala and will miss RedBud.
Gavin Towers – Knee | Out
Towers is out until 2026 due to a torn ACL and lateral meniscus
