Stilez Robertson is Back Riding the Turn Track, Over 230 Days After Wrist Injury

After suffering a wrist injury back late in 2023, Stilez Robertson has some good news to post. The Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing rider missed all of Monster Energy AMA Supercross due to the injury and has missed the first half of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship as well. His last pro race was the '23 Ironman National finale, where he finished 12-11 for tenth overall.
Robertson turned pro with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team in 2020 then made a switch to the factory Yamaha 250 effort for 2023. He landed one podium finish aboard a Star Yamaha YZ250F—the ’23 Anaheim 2 SX Triple Crown—then suffered a supercross season-ending broken leg in April that sidelined him until the final three rounds of Pro Motocross. In total, Robertson made eight starts last year with Star Racing.
While Robertson returned to riding a turn track last week, there is no timetable on his return to racing. Now, Robertson is back on the bike after over 230 days of dealing with this injury. Below is his full post, where he mentions his wrist required five total surgeries!
“234 days later… 5 surgeries … not going to lie there were some dark times but I’m finally past it all and I’am so happy to be back on my dirt bike. Got to go ride around for a bit on a turn track and man it feels good to be back. My recovery wasn’t smooth I won’t sugar coat it. Thought we had it fixed the first go around but ran into some problems but all is good now. Dr viola and his team were nothing but amazing to me and I am forever grateful for them! Thank you to everyone in my corner for helping me during this time. Was definitely hard on me but we got through it and I couldn’t be happier that it’s all over. Felt like a kid on Christmas waking up this morning knowing I got to go ride 😭😁”
