Feld Entertainment, promoters of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, announced a schedule change for round 15 of the championship this weekend in Denver, Colorado.
In light of NBC Sports’ scheduling changes due to the NHL Playoffs, the Denver race will begin one hour earlier than previously scheduled. This allows the race to fit into a live TV window.
Opening ceremonies will now begin at 5:00 p.m. MT, with the first heat races beginning at 5:30 p.m. Doors to the general public will open at 11:00 a.m., at which time the Fan Fest and race qualifying will begin.
The race will air live on NBC Sports beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
[Update: The race will air on NBC Sports Network at 8:00 p.m. ET following the Arkansas Derby. Live coverage will still air at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold App.]
