Cool side benefit from the James Stewart Freestone Amateur National held at Freestone County Raceway in Texas, every March: If you win there, you’re invited to the JS7 ride day at his compound in Florida. It’s a cool gesture by James and his family.

The 2016 ride day took place yesterday, and of course, the big news was that James, and his brother Malcolm, were riding Yamahas. What does it mean? Maybe nothing, maybe something.
