Six-time Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championship Austin Forkner made his highly anticipated professional debut at the 2016 GoPro Hangtown National. Under the microscope of the entire industry, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider rode to an impressive eighth overall in the 250 Class.
We caught up with Austin before his debut and also spoke to his mom Julie, mechanic Oliver Stone, and owner/team manager Mitch Payton to get their thoughts on Austin’s weekend.
