Rick Ryan's Bike and Van Stolen at Salines Arenacross
We spoke with Rick Ryan who let us know that his van and all of his sons racing equipment were stolen from the pits at the Salines, California AMSOIL Areancross event this past Sunday, April 10.
Ryan was at the event with his son, Jeremy, who is racing the Supermini/Dominator class and trying to qualify for the Monster Energy Cup this fall. Rick and Jeremy had left the pits to go and watch some of the main events, but returned back to their van to get ready for his race, which was taking place during the middle of the show program.
Apparently the van was driven away and out of the pits and with everything inside, including a brand new 2015 KX100 Supermini, all of Jeremy's gear, parts, tools and various other racing related items.
If you are in Northern California, keep your eyes peeled. The van is a white extended Ford Econoline van with no side windows and California plates. The back windows on the van are painted over. The bike is a 2015 KX100 Supermini and has #10 on it, along with blue triple clamps, mika chain and sprockets.
