Jacob Williamson, the high school senior from Michigan, who made his first 250SX main event in Detroit, finishing sixteenth, will take the place of the departed Gannon Audette on the Legends and Heroes Kawasaki team.
Williamson rode press day yesterday, his first time on the bike, and will debut for the team this weekend in Indianapolis. “The goal is to get better each week and learn with every round,” he said. “I want to better my finish each week, even if it's only one position better. As long as I am moving forward.”
Audette’s move to Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki to fill-in for the injured Arnaud Tonus opened a spot on the team.
