PAYSON, UT – Rocky Mountain ATV/MC will return as a sponsor of the seventh Annual Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship (RCSX). The event will take place March 6-7, 2016, at the Daytona International Speedway.
RCSX is the only major amateur supercross event in the nation, providing a unique proving ground for some of the top young talent in America. It is also considered the opening round of the American Motocross Majors, a set of five elite amateur MX events in the United States. Classes are available for all ages and skill levels. The event is produced by MX Sports, the same organization behind the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s.
The strategic scheduling of the event places it at the same venue as Daytona Supercross by Honda on March 5. This allows RCSX riders the opportunity to arrive early and watch professional supercross before they compete themselves.
“We’re happy to return as a sponsor for the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship,” said Dan Thomas, CEO and Founder of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “This is an important event for the amateur community, and we’re glad to be part of it.”
“It’s always great to work with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. It’s awesome to see what they’re willing to do for the racing community to make sure amateur riders have a great experience,” said Ricky Carmichael. “They do an excellent job with supporting our events that they help sponsor, and it’s no different for RCSX. This is going to be a great event.”
