PAYSON, UT – RM Rides has announced that the 2015 “Win a Trip to the ER” contest is currently accepting entries. The ER—or Emig Ride—is a motorcycle adventure ride into the Rocky Mountains of Colorado that will take place August 31 through September 4. Eight lucky winners will be chosen to ride alongside motocross legend Jeff Emig and the RM Rides crew.
Emig is excited for the upcoming ride. Here is what he had to say: “Are you sitting at your desk, daydreaming about riding your adventure bike in some beautiful location like Utah or Colorado? Well, wake up! RM Rides is going to send us on a free trip this September. Join me and the group for an unforgettable ride from Moab to locations in southwest Colorado. Last year, we experienced breathtaking views, challenging terrain and an enjoyable time with new friends. I look forward to meeting this year’s contest winners, so good luck!”
Eight winners will receive a prize package that includes hotel accommodations and meals for the duration of the trip. Winners will also receive $300 to assist in their travel to and from Moab, UT, where the ride will begin and end. The five-hundred-mile trip will take the riders through the scenic San Juan Mountains near Silverton, Ouray, and Telluride, CO. About half of the ride will be on dirt roads and trails, allowing the riders to explore old mines and ghost towns while experiencing incredible scenery.
“Two thousand fourteen was the very first ‘Win a Trip to the ER’ contest, and what a pleasure it was,” said Emig. I grew up riding trails in Colorado with my father and brother, so riding this terrain brought back some great memories.”
