Based in Costa Mesa, California, Ride Engineering specializes in bolt-on accessory products many of which improve the handling and braking performance of off-road motorcycles, since 2002.
Requirements
This position requires the following: good computer skills like Microsoft Outlook, Excel and a database program like QuickBooks, must be detail oriented, have a positive sales attitude and excellent verbal skills. This position will focus on processing inbound orders and soliciting dealer sales within a given territory using proven selling techniques to meet and exceed sales goals. You will contact accounts on a daily basis to solicit orders based on a quota set by the President. Keep detailed notes in regards to customer contact and other pertinent information. Receive, process and package orders, provide information concerning pricing, discontinuance, and shipping. Ensures the dealer or retail customer has a good experience. Stay current on all product knowledge of merchandise sold to better communicate benefits by riding with our products on personal bike and various project bikes built for magazine tests and videos. Ensures backorders are monitored and assist with payment collections as needed. He or she will be expected to periodically keep in contact with 400 to 500 established accounts while calling on new prospects to increase Ride Engineering's customer base. The focus of this position is heavily based on telephone use. Some minor travel to local dealerships may also be required.
Education and/or Experience
Two- to four-year college coursework or degree; two years sales experience; five years riding experience.

Knowledge of Motocross industry required

You will learn how a small business operates and deal with a wide range of customers. The position offers a base salary plus generous commissions based on your sales aptitude, experience and hard work ($44-$52K/yr).
