Top Picks/Sleepers
450SX
Chad Reed | Last week: 5th
Really, really, really liking what Reed has done lately. Top five is a good place to start.
Andrew Short | Last week: 12th
If you read about the last two weeks in the life of Andrew Short then you know his recent results (15-12) are very atypical. Look for him to bounce back this week. Unless, of course, his flight is cancelled again and he has to walk to the race.
Kyle Chisholm | Last week: 13th
The Chizz is starting to put the pieces together. Around thirteenth is a good starting point.
Cole Seely | Last week: 4th
Podiumed in a fill-in roll here last year; look for more of the same. He was frisky in Daytona.
Davi Millsaps | Last week: 9th
Is it time to move Millsaps back inside the top ten? Probably. He’s gone 12-11-9 the last three weeks.
250SX
Jordon Smith | Last week: 12th
Got the rookie nerves out of the way last week. Top ten isn’t a stretch.
Anthony Rodriguez | Last week: 8th
Has been super consistent the last three weeks. Is a fourth straight eighth place finish in the works? I say so.
Jimmy Decotis | Last week: 6th
The real Jimmy Decotis has finally stood up. Top ten is a must.
Dakota Alix | Last week: 18th
Has become a main event fixture. I like 15-18 this week.
Mitchell Oldenburg | Last week: 9th
If you want to take a risk, put Freckle in your top five. It may pay off.
AGAINST THE GRAIN
Again: YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PICK UP POINTS PICKING RYAN DUNGEY FIRST-THIRD. Just not going to happen. Don't go all crazy if you pick Dungey to finish second, and you nail it, and still lose ground. Even if you hit it on the nose, chances are half of the competition will as well. You pick up points further down the field. Let’s take a look and who may or may not have made up some ground last week.

Bonus Picks
Seriously, last week was bad. My only saving grace is that after practice I substituted Chad Reed for a heat race win instead of Eli Tomac. Other than that—twas a ruff week. I’ll stick my neck out there again—proceed at your own risk.

ADVICE FROM THE SO-CALLED EXPERTS
It was a yin-yang week for Weege. Let’s start with the good news. He picked Baggett for a top ten. (Clap.) [Edit: He picked him for podium and he wants everyone to know that.] He questioned the fitness on a rough track for Weston Peick. (Clap.) And he called Savatgy for a podium. (Close enough.) But then he totally killed himself and everyone that sided with him when he told you not to pick Dungey. Please email grievances to jasonw@racerxonline.com.
This week we're bringing in Andrew Fredrickson, currently in fifth and in desperate need of a late run.
Five things I’m betting on this week (Andrew Fredrickson)
1. I’m not betting on practice times. I did this at Daytona, and it really screwed me over. I’m going to use the “eye test” this week to see who I feel is going to make it happen when it’s time to go racing.
2. Red Bull KTM. The men in orange just have it going on right now, and at this point, I’d feel foolish to not have them on the top of the box.
3. Jeremy Martin and his somewhat “home race” for SX and he’ll be second place this week.
4. Weston will not fade this week. He’s going to get a killer start, and he’s going to get fourth place.
5. Jason Anderson will get back on the podium this week, claiming the third place position.
