AURORA, Ill. -Monster Energy Supercross Behind the Dream, the acclaimed eight-episode documentary series, will premiere its fourth episode of the 2015 season this Sunday, March 1, at 2:30 p.m. EST /11:30 a.m. PST.
Monster Energy Supercross Behind the Dream is the sport's foremost documentary TV series with unparalleled behind-the-scenes features on of the world's elite riders. The first three episodes have showcased the incredible depth of talent that inspired the sport's 2015 #WhosNext tagline, with rider-specific episodes that included Ken Roczen, Ryan Dungey, among others.
The fourth episode of Monster Energy Supercross Behind the Dream will put the spotlight on Georgia native Davi Millsaps. A true veteran of the sport, Millsaps has been forced to endure the heartbreak of injuries over the last year, completely missing the entire 2014 Monster Energy Supercross season following multiple surgeries to both his knee and his foot.
"Filming Behind the Dream was a great experience," said Millsaps. "We had the crew join me to see what goes on during the week on and off the bike, as well as time with my wife and kids. We don't always have the opportunity to tell our story quite like this and I'm excited that all our fans can get a glimpse of the other side. As 2015 approached, a healthy Millsaps received the opportunity of a lifetime to race for Monster Energy Kawasaki, the defending four-time champion race team. In his debut with the team, Millsaps went on to take arguably the biggest win of his career at Las Vegas' Monster Energy Cup last October, giving him bragging rights and momentum as the 2015 season got underway. Behind the Dream focuses on Millsaps' new surroundings and the influence of his new team and mechanic on his racing, in addition to the off-the-track support of his family.
The 2014 five-episode Monster Energy Supercross Behind the Dream documentary series is now available for download on iTunes. A total of six episodes comprise the series, each providing an in-depth, behind-the-scenes, look at the personalities that that make up Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. Headlining the 2015 Monster Energy Supercross television package will be the first-ever live FOX network broadcast from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Saturday, April 25 at 3 p.m. EST. FOX Sports 1 will broadcast 12 races live and FOX Sports 2 will broadcast 3 races live. Each race will include a next-day re-air on FOX Sports 1. In addition, the authenticated FOX Sports Go app will live stream each race.
