  • Elite Team Dunlop Squad Announced

Buffalo, NY: Now in its ninth year, Team Dunlop has become one of the preeminent amateur motocross sponsorship programs in the U.S. Since the program’s inception in 2007, many of the team’s riders have made successful transitions to the professional ranks; riders such as Eli Tomac, Blake Baggett, Ashley Fiolek, Justin Bogle, Justin Barcia, Matt Bisceglia, Justin Hill, Adam Cianciarulo, Jessy Nelson, Zach Bell, Joey Savatgy, Chris Alldredge, Dakota Alix and Jordan Smith.

This year, the Elite Team Dunlop squad consists of 20 rising stars of amateur motocross who will receive special tire support, preferred service at select races, plus advertising and promotional opportunities in national media and on the Team Dunlop website. These riders will compete at top amateur motocross nationals all across the country in classes ranging from 50cc to Super Mini.

Four new additions join the elite team for 2015; Hunter Yoder; Casey Cochran; Larry Reyes Jr.; and Max Vohland. Returning elite riders include Lance Kobusch Tanner Stack, Stilez Robertson, Garrett Marchbanks, Pierce Brown, Carson Mumford, Jett Reynolds, Ryder DiFrancesco, Hannah Hodges, Parker Mashburn, Jalek Swoll, Matthew Leblanc, Aiden Tijero, Haiden Deegan, Daxton Bennick and Nick Romano. “It’s always tough to select riders for the team because there are a lot of great riders to choose from,” said team manager Rob Fox. “We’re looking not just for fast riders, but for racers with the personality and dedication it takes to be a champion. The team now has a solid record of riders who have achieved great success at the professional level, and our 2015 Elite team is packed with riders who have the potential to do the same.”

Beyond the Elite team, through a unique relationship with Hookit, Dunlop continues to offer one of the largest amateur support programs in the nation, which is open to eligible up and coming racers. Visit teamdunlop.com today to check out all the possibilities that open up with membership in the Team Dunlop community.
