GEICO Honda rookie Jordon Smith reportedly sustained a broken hand that required a plate and six screws, the rider announced on Instagram yesterday. According to Smith, he will still try and race the 250SX East Region opener in Dallas next weekend. Smith is a two-time Loretta Lynn Amateur National Champion, who completed Ricky Carmichael’s Road to Supercross earlier this year.
The team has yet to make an official announcement on the status of Smith going forward. We will update this story as we have more information.
