AURORA, Ill.- Feld Motor Sports® announced today that Monster Energy Supercross Behind the Dream has expanded to an eight-episode series in 2015, exclusively on FOX Sports 1 beginning this Sunday, January 18 at 10:30 AM EST / 7:30 AM PST.
Never before have viewers been given such a personal look into the lives of the sport's elite athletes, who will do whatever it takes in the name of victory and championship glory over the course of 17 weekends. From training routines and family dynamics, to triumphs and hurdles, viewers will be provided with an insider's perspective of what it takes to be successful in the world's premier off-road motorcycle championship, both on and off the track.
Feld Motor Sports will document the personalities that make up Monster Energy Supercross throughout its duration, focusing on the storylines that develop lap-after-lap and race-after-race, on the track, in the team paddock, and even at home. The first episode, which airs this Sunday on FOX Sports 1, will feature an epic season-preview roundtable discussion with Jeremy McGrath, Jeff Emig, Ricky Carmichael, Brian Deegan, and Davey Coombs on the eve of the Anaheim opening race.
"The riders will lay it on the line for 17 race weekends, and Monster Energy Supercross Behind The Dream will give fans a perspective of what it will take to be the next champion," said Michael Prince, vice president of television, Feld Motor Sports. The 2015 Monster Energy Supercross television package includes the first-ever live FOX network broadcast from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Saturday, April 25 at 3 p.m. EST. FOX Sports 1 is broadcasting 12 races live and FOX Sports 2 is broadcasting three races live. Each race will include a next-day re-air on FOX Sports 1. In addition, the authenticated FOX Sports Go app is live-streaming each race.
