  • Osborne, Smith on Pit Pass Moto Show

Advance, North Carolina – Motorcycle racers, business owners and insiders from the motorcycle world give their uncut opinions and stories every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern. Listen live at www.pitpassmoto.com.

Ian Blythe has been selected to race in Brazil for the Orange KTM team. At 23 years old, Ian is a well known Colorado native that's competed all over the world. In 2010-2011 he raced the 6 Day ISDE on the Junior Team and in 2013 the ISDE Club Team. Also in 2011 he raced the World Enduro Championship in Europe for HM Honda Zanardo. Last year he placed third in the Australasian Safari.

After two rounds in the 250SX Monster Energy Supercross series, Zach Osborne sits in a close battle for the top 3 (currently in 4th and 9 points behind 1st). In the opening round all eyes were on him and Tyler Bowers during their heat race as they had an altercation that left Zach on the ground with a broken thumb. He managed to come back and, not only qualify, but finish 2nd and in front of Bowers. This past week in Phoenix he pulled the holeshot to end up an eventual 7th.

GEICO Honda has already signed Jordon Smith to compete in this year's 250SX East Coast Monster Energy Supercross series. First he must obtain enough points through the Ricky Carmichael Road to Supercross program at the AMSOIL Arenacross series. Last weekend at the opening round in Cincinnati he made his debut. In the heat race his finished a solid third. He went on to compete in the head to head bracket racing, finished fourteenth in main one (had a mishap in the rhythm section) but came back from that with a front row start in the second main after the full inversion was picked. He finished the second main event in fourth for eighth overall this weekend. Jordon's from Belmont, NC but moved to MTF in Georgia when he was younger.

Alongside Jim Holley, Andy Bowyer made his debut as host of the Race Day Live show at Anaheim 1 on January 3. Fans looking for more than just what the TV broadcast on FOX Sports offers can tune in on Saturday afternoons at Supercrosslive.com. Andy is a long time motocross enthusiast and grew up as a successful amateur with national titles. He's also a long time Racer X contributor and brother to NASCAR racer Clint Bowyer.

Jason Farrell is a top privateer AMA Road Racer and owner of Farrell Performance. He offers motor work, suspension tuning, data acquisition and coaching. He was been road racing for 22 years and won the 2014 ASRA Sport Bike Championship. He won the 2013 and 2014 ASRA Daytona races. He is working on plans to race the 2015 Daytona 200.

Chip Spalding  is a former WERA and CCS racer and former Factory Aprilia team manager. Former Millennium/KWS Suzuki team manager. Ballistic Performance Components was formed in 2009 in the high pressure environment of professional motorcycle racing. Millennium Technologies was the title sponsor and principle technical partner of the Factory Aprilia Millennium Technologies AMA Superbike team. In a quest to reduce the weight of the Aprilia race bikes Millennium Technologies began research of lightweight battery technology for use in a powersports starter battery application. Ballistic Performance Components is part of the Millennium Technologies Family of companies.
