HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – The Joe Gibbs Racing professional motocross team (JGRMX) is proud to announce a partnership with AutoTrader.com. AutoTrader, a Cox Automotive company, is the leading digital resource for car shoppers and sellers, with more than 4 million listings for new, used and CPO vehicles viewed by an average of 18+ million unique visitors per month. AutoTrader joins other title sponsors to comprise the new “AutoTrader/Toyota/Yamaha” Team.
“AutoTrader.com enjoys a great working relationship with Toyota and its dealers, so the partnership is a natural fit,” said Coy Gibbs, president of JGRMX. “We are looking forward to creating more awareness for the brand to the young active demographic for which Monster Energy AMA Supercross is known,” he added.
JGRMX was created by Coy Gibbs, the youngest son of Pro Football Hall of Fame Head Coach Joe Gibbs, who also lays claim to three NASCAR Sprint Cup titles. The team debuted in 2008 with founding support from Toyota and Yamaha, both of which remain critical to the team’s efforts.
“This is an exciting new partnership for AutoTrader, and we’re pleased to be working with the experienced team at JGRMX. We look forward to showing supercross fans all of the ways we make car shopping easier,” said Jessica Stafford, vice president of consumer marketing, Cox Automotive.
The AutoTrader/Toyota/Yamaha Team will debut at the opening round of the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship Series on Jan. 3 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. Fox Sports One will broadcast the event live at 10 p.m. (EST).
