With two AMA Superbike titles and three 500cc World Championships to his credit, Wayne Rainey is considered one of the greatest motorcycle road racers of all time. The KRAVE Group purchased the promotional and marketing rights to U.S. road racing replacing DMG- AMA Pro. KRAVE is an acronym from the founders last names: Terry Karges,Wayne Rainey, Chuck Aksland, and Richard Varner.
Kevin Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Champion, has scores of fans worldwide to this day. He continues to be active in the road racing community both domestic and across the pond. This fall he was named "AIMExpo Champion" at the American International Motorcycle Expo. He also helped Suzuki introduce the 2015 Suzuki MotoGP GSX-RR at the Motegi MotoGP race in Japan.
For 2015, MotoConcepts has re-signed Mike Alessi along with Vince Friese, and according to a team statement, they will again contest the Canadian Nationals. Various sources have mentioned the team might compete in AMA Supercross, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, the Canadian Nationals and even the MXGP series is a possibility. Mike Genova, team owner, is on to discuss it.
Alex Martin is set to start his second full season with the Rock River squad and will compete in the 250SX West Region. Last year he finished eighth overall in the 250SX East Region and twelfth overall in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross. He is the son of John and Greta Martin (owners of Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, MN) and older brother to Jeremy Martin (current 250 Pro MX National Champ).
Jake Weimer spent the last four years with Monster Energy Kawasaki alongside Villopoto. When his contract was up he was without a ride and his immediate racing future was in question. Now he's settled on a deal with Team Tedder to race both Supercross and Outdoors in 2015.
