IRVINE, Cal. – GEICO AMA EnduroCross race officials today released the first photos of a huge, six-lane-wide EnduroCross battleground for this weekend’s races in Nampa, Idaho at the Ford Idaho Center.
The all-new track design takes advantage of the large floor of the Ford Idaho Center as well as the local areas abundance of natural obstacles from the Boise area, and built a truly Idaho-worthy EnduroCross track.
This could be the most exciting track and race of the 2014 season—a season that has seen four different race winners in seven rounds with three of those racers winning two races each.
Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb looks to take full advantage of the technical course and his Beta two-stroke power to extend his narrow seven-point lead over five-time champion, Factory Red Bull KTM’s Taddy Blazusiak 250 or 350 four-stroke. However, the large arena could play perfectly into the hands of Rockstar/JCRHonda/Lucas Oil’s Colton Haaker on his Honda 450. Haaker is only two points behind Blazusiak and nine out of the lead.
The upcoming Idaho event marks the penultimate round of the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship and could very well determine who emerges the victor in what has been the most unpredictable season in EnduroCross history.
