  • Suzuki Launches Moto-X-Men

Every great superhero storyline is filled with epic battles with one winner coming out on top. In dirt bike racing, the same holds true – the gate drops and racers battle knowing only one rider, one brand will finish on top of the podium. This is why Suzuki Motor of America, Inc., has teamed up with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to launch the Moto-X-Men.

Like the X-Men, the Suzuki racing story is filled with many epic battles leading to famous wins and champions. And just like each X-Men member features a special power, each Suzuki RM-Z delivers special features to help riders win. The 2015 RM-Z lineup is ready to write a new chapter in the Suzuki story.

For 2015, Suzuki engineers and designers have delivered the best RM-Z bikes yet. Building on its reputation for great handling, the 2015 RM-Z450 features a Showa SFF Air Fork system that has been tested and proven by factory racers like James Stewart. It delivers more progression through its travel and offers a nearly infinite amount of adjustment, plus it’s 2.5 pounds lighter than a conventional spring fork. Suzuki engineers achieved further weight reduction by redesigning the frame, and giving it more balanced rigidity.

The Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) technology on the RM-Z450 gives riders an advantage by allowing them to dial in the perfect start no matter the gate conditions. The S-HAC is programmed with three specific modes (A, B, and OFF) that adjust the newly redesigned engine to help riders power to the holeshot – all at the push of a handlebar-mounted button.

Suzuki engineers redesigned a number of components – including a longer kickstart lever, revised kick-gear ratios, updated de-compression system, a redesigned exhaust camshaft and more – to make the 2015 RM-Z450 easier to start, saving time and energy for riding.

The updated fuel-injection system – found in both the RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 – features the same high-performance engineering that makes Suzuki sportbikes the only choice for roadracers. The RM-Z system gives riders two additional fuel-setting couplers to make the most of any track condition. A simple trackside swap of a fuel coupler lets riders adjust to a richer or leaner fuel setting for precise throttle response. The return of the RM85 means Suzuki racing performance extends to younger riders, too.

Champions are made. Not born. To find out more about the Moto-X-Men and share an exciting, action packed video, please visit www.suzukicycles.com/motoxmen. There you will also be able to locate your nearest Suzuki RM-Z dealer and find out how to purchase “X-Men: Days of Future Past” on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
