Bruce Brown teamed up with Steve McQueen to create arguably the best and most influential motorcycle documentary of all time, On Any Sunday, in 1971. This film’s impact is still being felt decades later and the ripples continue outward to even more generations of two-wheeled enthusiasts to this day. Dana Brown has picked up the mantle of his father’s legendary film and will debut On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter nationwide this weekend. We’ve idolized the visionary that helped kick start the revolution since we were kids, and we are honored to welcome on Bruce Brown tonight!
Mert Lawwill amassed an AMA Hall of Fame career and was truly an off-road pioneer, but he’s probably best known for being in the original, On Any Sunday, which featured his dramatic bid to defend the Grand National title. The film’s popularity gave new fans someone to pull for and put a face on one of our sport’s most popular racers. We are always respectful and cognizant of the people that helped build what we now stand on and really look forward to catching up with one of those men tonight.
On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter opens nationwide this Friday and you have to make plans to see it with your crew. You can check out www.OnAnySundayFilm.com for theater times and locations. Please help spread our passion to the next generation of two-wheeled junkies and make this film as successful as the original!
