Santa Monica, Calif. – The Romanian hills come alive with the sound of motorbike engines when Red Bull Romaniacs airs on Sunday, October 19, at 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT on NBC, as part of the Red Bull Signature Series.
A new “King of the Carpathians” is crowned from this suspense-packed multi-day event that challenges riders to climb up over 6,500 feet, while battling the fog and thunderstorms of Sibiu, Romania. The track crosses mountain areas, rocky ground, hills, and valleys. Petrol fuel stops, or tank stops, are placed at race intervals, where contestants refuel their motorcycles and have the opportunity to refresh themselves.
The broadcast is presented in partnership with Dodge Dart, GoPro, and Polaris RZR. Sal Masekela, the definitive voice in action sports, hosts the Red Bull Signature Series all year long on NBC.
