AURORA, Ill. – Feld Motor Sports® announced today the lineup of Pit Party events at the Monster Energy Cup on October 18, including Dirt Shark Biggest Whip qualifying, a FMX Demo, a BMX Dirt Speed and Style Invitational, the BMX Dirt Best Trick presented by Toyota, Bellator MMA, Drifting, and a Street Bike Stunt Demo.

The Pit Party will play host to the Dirt Shark Biggest Whip contest’s qualifying session, featuring Tom Parson, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Todd Potter, Edgar Torronteras, Jarryd McNeil, Brett Cue, Ronnie Renner, Nate Adams, Beau Bamburg, Billy Laninovich, Deston Cantrell, James Carter, Tyler Bereman, and Lance Coury. The world’s best will be narrowed down to eight riders through the qualifying process. This will set the stage for the Main Event that will take place during the night program, with the winner taking home $15,000. The riders competing in this go-for-broke contest represent more than thirty X-Games gold medals.

Complimenting the Dirt Shark Biggest Whip qualifying, Twitch, Nate Adams, Adam Jones and Blake “Bilko” Williams will entertain fans during the FMX Demo.

An all-star line-up of BMX riders will duke it out for the BMX Dirt Speed and Style Invitational and the BMX Best Trick presented by Toyota. The ‘who’s who’ in BMX will compete for a combined $18,000 in these two competitions, featuring Ryan Nyquist, TJ Ellis, Kyle Baldcock, Pat Casey, Kevin Peraza, Ryan Guettler, Andy Buckworth, Scotty Cranmer, Daniel Sandoval, Rob Darden, Colton Satterfield, James Foster, Mike Varga, Vince Bryron, and Kris Fox.

A stacked card of four professional fights is on tap for the Bellator MMA event at 4:45 p.m. PT. Monster Energy-sponsored fighters Quintan Jackson, Michael Chandler, and Joey Beltrans will be on hand to sign autographs for the fans.

Bout #1
Sergio Moore vs. Caleb Contreas

Bout #2
Steve Garcia vs. Sean Cantor

Bout #3
Adrian Hadribeaj vs. AJ Williams

Bout #4
James “The Beast” Wilson vs. Maurice “The Gorilla” Jackson

Drifting legends Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Casey Currie will perform during the smoke show. Fans will be able to get a first-hand look at the speed and power of these machines.

Rounding out the day’s festivities will be a Street Bike Stunt Demo.

The Monster Energy Cup airs LIVE on FOX Sports 2 on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET., and the following day, FOX Sports 1, will re-air the entire race at 1:00 p.m. ET. A week later, Sunday, October 26,  FOX broadcast network offers a ninety-minute Monster Energy Cup encore special following NFL football in most markets, while preceding football in others (check local listings).

The 2014 Monster Energy Cup features an all-new track design inspired by fifteen-time AMA National Champion Ricky Carmichael. The Carmichael-inspired track design will consist of supercross and motocross obstacles unlike any other racetrack design in the world. The Monster Energy Cup track will include a unique split start where eleven riders from each side will blitz down a long straightway to huge 180 degree bowl turns, then converge into one lane. The Monster Energy Cup posts a $250,000 purse with the winner walking away with a $100,000 check, and any rider that wins all three Main Events will take home $1 million.
