Phoenix, AZ, USA – Every once in a while, someone invents an improved twist on an old theme. In this case the theme is drive systems, and in particular, a fascinating, state-of-the-art sprocket and chain combination that’s cleverly engineered and promises extended durability, less drag, increased drive line efficiency and more power to the ground.

The fresh thinking comes from upstart HoleShot. It’s a new sprocket line that has a litany of unique attributes, including zero oscillation, industry-leading radiused teeth, milled i-beam spoke construction, two-sided radial mud pack relief and unparalleled detail-to-weight reductions, the combination and quality of which is not available in any other sprocket.

Each sprocket is made by a 100 percent robotic CNC process out of 7075 T6 aluminum in its North American AS9100 compliant facility by the same standards that supply the aerospace and defense industries. The company calls the intensive engineering and manufacturing activity its AeroTru process.

“I’ve had firsthand experience with competitive products, and I knew something better could be created. That’s exactly what we’ve done and we’re excited to offer it now to competitors and hobbyists alike,” said CEO AJ Whisler. “Our company is committed producing the absolute most reliable, competition quality, competitively-priced, and best performing products available.”

Complementing the premium sprocket line is the HoleShot chain that capitalizes on countless dyno hours, data comparisons and materials science. This European constructed, hi-tensile strength chain made of a special blend of alloys is a remarkably durable, reliable unit with small bushing pockets for less initial stretch, chromed pins, and reduced propensity to break and improved life. The 520 and 428 have a tight-fit master link that reduces link flex and adds strength and reliability to a commonly weak area of a chain.

The drive system components are aimed at the Moto and Off-Road sectors in the form of 520, 428, and 420 chains and sprockets for all late models of dirt bikes, modified karts and trophy karts. The company also offers 219 sprockets and chains for competitive karting.

“We like to say ‘Race Tested, Ride Ready’, meaning we have engineered and tested our products to surpass the stresses of the industry’s best options,” added Whisler. “We are a company of competitors from all different types of racing that understand the details behind not just winning, but crushing the competition on the track. We’ve poured that knowledge into products ideal for on and off the track.”
