Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing
Thor Indiana National Ironman Raceway - Crawfordsville, Ind. - August 16
- Officially established as a motocross track in 2014, Ironman Raceway is hosting its first ever round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this year.
- The inaugural Indiana National will mark only the second race to ever be held on the Ironman Raceway motocross track. The brand new venue hosted a Loretta Lynn's Regional Championship this summer, May 31 - June 1.
- The property, also known as "The Shaver Family Farm", has hosted a round of the Grand National Cross Country Series since 1995. The Ironman GNCC is one of the most popular races on the circuit.
- There were an estimated 3,000 truckloads of organic material mix and sand brought in over the past five months in order to help construct the national track.
- There has not been a Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship round in the state of Indiana since 1973 when a round of the Inter-Am Series came to Washington, Indiana. Jimmy Weinert finished as the Top American in the 500cc Class.
- Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha's Jeremy Martin will attempt to clinch his first-ever 250 Class Championship one round early in Indiana.
