  • Decoster, Grant, Seely on DMXS Radio

Red Bull KTM Factory team manager, Roger “The Man” Decoster,  anxiously watched the epic battle between his two premier riders come down to the final few corners at the opening round at Glen Helen. It’s hard to imagine that a track that big and rough would have the riders within a bike length when the checkered flag waved, but it was obvious to the fans that the riders came prepared for a summer-long battle. We’ll get Roger’s thoughts on the race and future plans for KTM moving forward.

I’m pretty sure that Toyota/JGR Yamaha's Josh Grant would even look smooth eating a piece of pepperoni pizza, but we were all treated to that insanely smooth signature riding style while we watched him carve up the brutal track like he was on cruise control in that first moto. Josh had an unfortunate crash in the second moto that kept him from contending for the podium, but I’m certain he is on everyone’s radar now. The California hometown kid is already looking forward to Hangtown this weekend.

Lucas Oil/TLD Honda's Cole Seely showed the doubters again that he’s not just a supercross specialist with a solid day in San Bernardino. It was just an accomplishment to survive the day with several top championship contenders struggling at the challenging open round. We always enjoy having Cole on and will catch up as he’s busy preparing for round two.

DUBYA USA is the one and only source you’ll ever need for wheels and hubs. Their masterpieces are not only amazingly strong and functional, but truly pieces of moto art. The care and precision they utilize in building every custom wheel has garnered them the respect across the pits. Dungey and Roczen crossed the finish line rocking their sets, too. DUBYA’s John Anderson and his family go waaaay back in the sport and we’re very honored to be associated with them. We’ll do some bench-racing tonight with John, and discuss their extensive quality product line and options. Check them out at www.DubyaUSA.com.
