Former FIM MXGP World and AMA Pro Champion Grant Langston will be joining the broadcast team for the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this summer. South Africa’s most successful motocross racer and his legion of worldwide fans are certainly glad the Zulu Warrior has stayed involved in the sport after retiring in 2010. We look forward to catching up and getting his thoughts on the outdoor season before the gate drops at Glen Helen this weekend.
The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is the crown jewel of professional motocross racing and brings the most talented riders together each summer on some of the most historic and challenging tracks across the country. There is no single person that has worked harder at preserving and growing our cherished outdoor series than Davey Coombs. There are some big and exciting changes for this year and we’ll get the latest from DC tonight!
Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb was just named this year’s AMA 250 Supercross Rookie of the Year. Coop is not about hype and let his consistent riding do all the talking this year, including a solid finish at Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout in Vegas. We’re just fortunate as fans to see talented rookies like Coop, AC and others moving up to represent our sport for many years to come.
Vurb’s Wes Williams will be joining us in the studio again tonight since the moto vagabond is somehow home here in Atlanta for two consecutive weeks.
