Supplemental Rules and Classes Announced for the 2014 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. -- MX Sports, producer of the 2014 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL, announces today the Class Structure and Supplemental Rules for the 2014 National Championship, taking place July 27 - August 2 at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.

There were no changes made in regards to the Amateur class lineup, while a few minor changes were made to the Youth classes. For 2014, there will be a name, age and machine reclassification of the Mini Sr. 1 (12-13) class, which will no longer be a Limited class.

Another highlighted change includes an age reclassification in the Girls Jr. (9-13) class, extending the maximum age from 11-to 13-years of age. The Girls Sr. (12-16) class will remain as a stepping-stone to the Women (14+) class.
