We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Ryan Longstreth, Cycra's longtime brand manager and industry friend, as the result of a street bike accident last night in Ohio. Longstreth collided with a deer that was crossing the road along the highway. He was 38 years old and had been involved in the motocross industry for nearly twenty years. Longstreth is survived by his wife Harmony and his daughter Morgan.
"Ryan was our brand manager and most of all a great friend for 18 years," said Glen Laivins, who founded Cycra with his brother Ken. More details will follow when they are available.
Ryan Longstreth was a good man and a good friend to many in the motorcycling industry, including all of us at Racer X Illustrated, Racer Productions, MX Sports, and especially his friends and coworkers at Cycra. Godspeed, Ryan.
