  • Haines Raises Money for Navy Seal Foundation

OFF-ROAD HALL OF FAMER RAISES SIGNIFICANT
CONTRIBUTIONS
FOR THE NAVY SEAL FOUNDATION
$450,000 RAISED FOR VETERANS’ FAMILIES AT NEW YORK GALA

NEW YORK, NY- Since 2008, Chris Haines has trained the nation’s elite special forces as an off-road specialist. Now, the families of those soldiers are benefiting from his specialized training as well. Haines, a Navy veteran, racing champion and Off-Road Hall of Fame inductee, has been active with the Navy Seal Foundation. At this year’s 6th Annual Navy SEAL Foundation Benefit in New York, Haines donated special ops off-road training packages to be auctioned generating $450,000 that will be used to provide housing and college scholarships for the families of Navy SEALS killed in the line of duty.

That commitment to giving back has long been a hallmark of Haines’ highly decorated career in off-road motorsports. He currently serves as chief instructor for the Naval Special Warfare Group. Haines has accumulated thousands of hours training U.S. Special Forces through his comprehensive off-road vehicle training courses. Haines extensive testing, research and development, and training methods mirror the dimensions necessary in training Special Forces. He has logged over 500,000 off- road miles on motorcycles and four wheel LTATV’s and ATV vehicles. Haines resume includes: 13 Baja 1000 mile and 3 Baja 500 mile championships; 2 SCORE Off-Road titles; 1 Pikes Peak Hill-Climb Championship and a 4-time winner of the AMA Golden Wrench Award for Mechanic of the Year. After having met every demand of the U.S. Navy and Off-Road racing circuit on his own, he has committed to giving the same precise, highly skilled training perfected over his career to the nation’s elite warriors.

Chris Haines is committed to the Navy SEAL Foundation and is proud to support this important organization. Navy SEALS are dedicated professionals, who despite high personal costs defend and protect America’s freedom.
