Southwest Regional Schedule Change
ANZA, Calif.- It is necessary to clarify the weekend schedule for the Southwest Youth and Amateur Regional Championship, taking place this weekend at The Ranch in Anza, Calif. It was previously posted that all riders would have to be present for both days of the Southwest Regional; however, it has been determined for this weekend's event that classes will be broken up into two separate days of racing.
"In the past, Southwest and Northwest Regionals have been run much like an Area Qualifier, meaning that some classes run all of their motos on Saturday and other classes on Sunday. So to ensure that everyone is clear on this weekend's schedule, MX Sports has made the decision to revert back to the previous format used in those regions," said MX Sports Director Tim Cotter.
Again, this weekend's Regional Championship at The Ranch will consist of two separate days of racing. Please see the chart below to determine which day each class will race.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but we want to ensure that every rider can be present for their respective motos," Cotter added.
