Wil Hahn and 6D Top Atlanta

  • Wil Hahn and 6D Top Atlanta

6D Helmets congratulates Wil Hahn on his first win in AMA Supercross. With his win, Hahn sits
just 2 points shy of the current points leader in the 250 East coast series. "I feel like I'm on the
right path to get a title. The biggest thing for me is to be consistent and eliminate errors."

Hahn started the night with a victory in his heat race after a good battle with his teammate Zach Bell, who led from the start. He then carried that momentum and confidence into the main event.

After two painful crashes last week in Dallas, Bell’s sheer ability to line up and compete in Atlanta is a true testament to the capabilities of the 6D Helmet. As reported and well documented within the media, despite taking two significant hits to his head in Dallas, Bell was uninjured and cleared to compete after SCAT 2 examination by the Asterisk Mobil Medical team. Zach, his family, and the GEICO Honda team owners and managers are all extraordinarily grateful that Zach was wearing a 6D Helmet. Rick Zielfelder stated on DMXS radio “Those boys have brought some technology to the table in helmets that is making a big, big difference. I have four riders right now raving about what that helmet’s done for them in crashes already.”

About the 6D’s ATR-1 helmet: The 6D ART-1 off-road motorcycle helmet makes an entirely new helmet technology available to the athlete. 6D’s ‘ODS’ (Omni-Directional Suspension) technology is designed to be more compliant against lower-threshold energy impacts, while still providing all of the necessary protection required to manage an extreme impact. Additionally, the ‘ODS’system significantly reduces critical angular acceleration energy providing unmatched protection to the athlete in low and high velocity impacts; a function traditional helmet designs are not equipped to address.
