ONE Industries Riders in Atlanta
(San Diego, CA) - Rockstar Energy Racing and ONE Industries sponsored rider Davi Millsaps returns to home soil and claims his seventh podium finish of the series. After winning his heat race, Millsaps finished third in the 450 Main Event, holding on to the red number plate with a 22-point advantage over second position.
Justin Brayton had a solid top five start, but the JGR Yamaha and ONE Industries rider was taken down in the sand section; he was able to battle his way back to a thirteenth place finish. This moves Brayton into ninth in the 450 Class as the series moves to St. Louis next weekend.
Millsaps' Rockstar Energy teammate and ONE Industries sponsored rider Blake Wharton got a clean start off the line and fought for third for much of the race but would eventually finish fourth, moving him into third place in the 250 East Championship. Teammate Nico Izzi did not compete as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
ONE Industries sponsored riders Kyle Peters and Mitchell Oldenburg both had great races as they battled for top ten positions in the 250 Main Event. Peters would finish in eighth place, moving him into fifth in the series, and rookie Mitchell Oldenburg improves on his Dallas finish to place eleventh in Atlanta.
