New Social Network for Motorsports
SoCal business owners, Angie McGrath and DeAnna Caldera, have put together a new social network for the off-road/moto enthusiast. MotoMingle.com is all about off-road. It’s a place where you can find others who ride, like to watch, or just want to learn any off-road motorsport. With MotoMingle you can find others who share your same passion, whether its dirt bikes on the track, quads in the dessert, or dune buggies in the sand. Their members reach from California to New York and everywhere in between. You can post events, share videos, upload photos, add services and sell goods in their classifieds, and chat with others online.
MotoMingle teamed up with X Games medalist and 2009 Women’s Motocross (WMX) Rookie of the Year, Sara Price, who signed a contract to race under their new company for the the first and last rounds of the 2012 WMX Nationals and the upcoming summer X Games.
Sara Price, a SoCal native as well, made history in the sport of motocross by becoming the first ever female racer to pit under the same tent as Supercross and Motocross Champion Chad Reed under the Factory Monster Energy Kawasaki Team in 2010. After a crash in the 2011 X Games, Price took time off to heal from injuries and focus on her future. MotoMingle owners feel Sara is a great role model and want to help Sara get back to doing what she does best: Race.
Price says, “I’m excited to work with MotoMingle.com and love the idea of a social networking site for the off-road and moto industry. I’m looking forward to getting back in the game and winning races. Thanks to MotoMingle for stepping up to help me, I can now set my focus 100% to racing again.”
Sara has been training hard and will be ready to compete in the upcoming WMX Nationals Saturday, May 19th, at Hangtown in Sacramento, as well as the upcoming X Games in Los Angles, June 28 - July 1, 2012.
