My Favorite Year - By Terry Pratt

The motorcycling world lost a good man and a dear friend in Terry Pratt, the former Cycle News executive who passed away after losing his battle with cancer. Terry was well-liked and highly-respected within the industry, having worked in the sport for much of his life. In fact, in 1972 he did something that probably every aspiring motocross journalist has wanted to do: He packed his bags, crossed the ocean and traveled on the world motocross circuit. Pratt penned a book about the journey back in 2007 called "Grad Prix Motocross," and Racer X interviewed him at length about the project called "My Favorite Year." We would like to share it here again in his honor. Godspeed, Terry.
